Roycroft Auctions have been in business for over 30 years. These days the auctions are conducted by John Roycroft with the help of his wife Linda. They specialise in selling antique bottles, including ginger beers, codd bottles, old beer and milk bottles. Also whisky paraphernalia and the like. They also conduct auctions selling enamel/ porcelain advertising signs, tin and cardboard signs and pub and advertising mirrors. Garaganalia items are also a feature such as oil bottles, petrol tins and bits and pieces. As well as antique bottles and advertising signs they also conduct auctions of Australian cedar and blackwood furniture, antique glass and china, cast iron ware, corkscrews (still and mechanical), kitchenalia, kerosene lights (including table and banquet). Carnival glass, Mary Gregory glass and depression glass are also featured. Beer, whisky and lemonade side jugs (water jugs) are also popular items. Recent auctions have included bottles from all states of Australia, many of which have been found in the goldfields – early soft drink bottles, beers, convict pottery ginger beers salad oils, etc. We are always looking for goods to auction or buy and would be interested to discuss details with you or if you would like a catalogue for these auctions give us a ring (0433 247 438) or email.
