The City Bar is located in a historic 1911 late Vienna Secessionism style building by the Austrian architect Rudolf Erdos (1876-1935); originally opened as an officer's casino the building became a bar in 1916 and was later renamed the Eden Bar, which is now run by the Schimanko family.
