Western Australia 1857-59 Lithographed Six Pence Imperforate Covers 1859 (25 Dec.) entire letter to St. John, New Brunswick , marked "Via Southampton" , bearing 6d. golden bronze with margins on two sides, in combination with 1854 1d. black and 4d. with pre-printing vertical paper crease, each cancelled "6", showing Albany despatch c.d.s. in opposite corner, red London Paid transit d.s. (9.2) with arrival datestamp (25.2) on reverse; the entire first bore 6d. but P.O. correctly rated it 11d. for ½oz. with red manuscript "5d" to pay and the 1d. and 4d. were added. The entire with vertical filing fold which runs along the left side of the 1d. A remarkable franking to a most unusual destination and a major exhibition showpiece. P.F. Certificate (1977).
